The pioneers at the forefront of digital dentistry descended upon Phoenix, Arizona earlier this month to present at the Inaugural 3Shape Community Symposium. During this ground-breaking 2-Day event, attendees witnessed first-hand the newest innovations and workflows in digital dentistry.
One of the most exciting announcements came from Rune Fisker who introduced AI scanning. This simple software update is now available and makes the process of scanning even easier. It allows your TRIOS scanner to now build an impression and intuitively cut out soft tissue (think annoying tongue, cheeks, floor of mouth) to make the scanning process even faster. This feature will help new users learn to scan even faster and improve the overall patient experience. Dr. Alan Jurim also presented a Master Class on the Client-Server Relationship to facilitate TRIOS® users understanding of how to expand the use of their technology throughout the entire digital ecosystem in their modern office.
Other highlights from the symposium include new software upgrades, like Treatment Simulator and Clear Aligner Studio, and direct integration with Formlabs 3D printer. On a personal note, CADproAcademy.com launched during the symposium to help like-minded TRIOS® users get the on-going training and support needed to maximize the potential of their tech investment. The meeting was a tremendous success, with all those in attendance looking forward to the digital advances to be featured at next year’s symposium!
