A native to Long Island, Dr. Brandon Katz obtained his undergraduate Bachelor’s Degree from Binghamton University with a major in Biology and a minor in History. Dr. Katz then obtained his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry, graduating top of his class and earning Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society status. 

After completing his dental doctorate, Dr. Katz was accepted into the General Practice Residency at Stony Brook University Medical Center where he learned to comprehensively treat all aspects of clinical dentistry. In the pursuit of becoming a leading clinician, Dr. Katz continued his education by completing a three year residency at the Manhattan VA Medical Center where he earned his first Specialty Certificate in Prosthodontics. 

Upon completion of his Prosthodontic residency, Dr. Katz decided once again to further his breadth of knowledge at the specialist level. He was accepted into the Post Graduate Program of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at Stony Brook University where he earned his Certificate in Periodontology, as well as a Masters in Biomedical Sciences. At Stony Brook, Dr. Katz is also obtained his Certificate in Parenteral Sedation.

Being a dual-specialist in Prosthodontics and Periodontics is a highly unique distinction, one that Dr. Katz is proud to have achieved as it allows him to best understand all parameters when treatment planning patients that require extensive surgical and prosthetic treatments. Dr. Katz is able to comprehensively treat all patient in all phases and aspects of dentistry.

Dr. Brandon Katz is a member of  the American Dental Association, the American College of Prosthodontists, and the American Academy of Periodontology. He has completed research in the areas of biomaterials and material sciences both at NYU College of Dentistry and at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine.
